Description
Teribersky Falls, flowing into the Barents Sea, is one of the most outstanding natural attractions in the area. It originates in the Small Batarei Lake and forms a small stream that falls from a great height, forming a stunning waterfall. Depending on the level of filling of the lake, the power of the waterfall can vary from stormy and full-flowing to calm and quiet.
In winter, when the temperature drops and the water freezes, the waterfall turns into an icefall, and therefore the best time to visit this place is spring, summer or early autumn. During these periods of the year, the lake is overcrowded and the water flow becomes high, creating a magnificent spectacle for travelers.
There is almost no vegetation around the waterfall due to the close location of the sea, which only emphasizes the harsh and wild beauty of this place. Such landscapes have become the backdrop for many films, including the famous "Leviathan", scenes of which were filmed near the Teriber Falls. This place attracts tourists with its unique natural beauty and wilderness atmosphere.
