Description
The Ryabinin estate on Gogol Street, house 24, is a unique architectural monument of Ufa, built in the first half of the 19th century. This wooden house has a rich history and is associated with prominent personalities.
The history of the house begins with Anna Gavrilovna Tikhanovskaya, an official who was its first owner in 1879. Subsequently, the house was inherited by her descendants, and from 1904 it began to belong to Nikolai Vasilyevich Ryabinin.
Nikolai Vasilyevich Ryabinin was an outstanding lawyer and official. He went through a long career, starting as a justice of the peace and ending with the position of Uyezd Ufa District Judge. He served the state faithfully for 45 years and was awarded for his impeccable career.
The life of Nikolai Vasilyevich Ryabinin was connected with Ufa and his family. After the death of his wife, he independently took care of seven children, providing them with a good education and upbringing. His sons continued his work and served the state, and his daughters found their calling in medicine and education.
In connection with the October Revolution, Nikolai Vasilyevich Ryabinin retired, but was subsequently invited to resume service. In 1918, when Ufa was captured by the White Guards, he was forced to leave the city and evacuate to Krasnoyarsk.
The fate of the house continued, despite the changes in the life of its owner. In 1923, part of the buildings was given over to municipal services, and in subsequent years the house became a place of residence for many families. In 2018, thanks to the efforts of volunteers, the house was restored to preserve its historical value.
