Description

The village of Tyulyuk, located in the Chelyabinsk region, looks like an authentic ancient settlement, and rightly so, since it was founded in the second half of the 18th century. The center of the village is decorated with a beautiful wooden Orthodox church, which is an architectural monument. The church dedicated to the Entry of the Blessed Virgin Mary into the temple was built in 1890. Funds for construction were allocated by the Ufa Committee of the Missionary Society. The first service in the church took place on January 9, 1894, and its consecration took place in 1896. The church was visited not only by residents of the village of Tyuluk, but also by nearby villages.

Interestingly, not a single nail was used in the construction of the church. However, in 1930, after a change of government, the church was closed, and the rector became a victim of political repression. Despite the closure, the church was not destroyed, but was used as a club where various events were held, including dances and film screenings. Sometimes prayers were held in secret in the church.

In 1973, the village of Tyulyuk experienced a terrible fire, as a result of which many wooden houses burned down, but the church miraculously remained intact. After the easing of persecution against believers, it was decided to restore the church. In 1994, the church was repaired and returned to the believing villagers. Every year on August 19, a religious procession is held in Tyulyuk.

The village of Tyulyuk is an ancient Russian settlement, and its name comes either from the name of the Bashkir nomad Tyulyak, or from the word "tulyuk" (Bashkir) - dwelling. It is located in a picturesque place, surrounded by mountain rivers and ridges. The Church of the Entry of the Blessed Virgin Mary into the Temple is the central architectural object of the village, attracting with its beauty and historical significance.
