Description

The Yuryuzan railway station, located on the former Beloretsk narrow-gauge railway, is evidence of the history of transporting the products of the Beloretsk Iron Smelting Plant at the beginning of the 20th century. The station, although now dilapidated, is a reminder of the times when the narrow gauge railway was an important part of the region's infrastructure.

The history of the Beloretsk narrow-gauge railway is important not only from an economic point of view, but also from a social one. It contributed to the development of not only the metallurgical plant, but also the surrounding settlements where plant workers and their families lived. Along with the growth of the narrow-gauge railway, the city of Beloretsk arose, which became the center of industrial development and provided jobs for many people.

The decision to close the Beloretsk narrow-gauge railway at the end of the 1960s was due to economic and organizational reasons. Despite the historical significance and significance of this road, it has ceased to be liquid due to the high costs of maintenance and upkeep.

Today, the Yuryuzan station and other railway facilities associated with the Beloretsk narrow-gauge railway remind us of the importance of developing transport infrastructure for the prosperity of the region and its residents.
