The Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, located in the village of Perevoloki, has a rich history, dating back to its foundation around 1680. This historical object arose during the life of the Zhiguli Cossack freemen, when boats were transported here between the Volga and Usa, significantly shortening the journey along the river.

Description
The holy spring “Tears of the Blessed Virgin Mary,” located in the Samara region in the village of Perevoloki, has been known for its history since 1936, when it first appeared on the banks of the Volga. At the same time, the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in Perevoloki was closed, and then the Mother of God, according to legend, showed people this source, which has healing powers. The water in it is as clear as a tear, and many come here for healing from various ailments.
Among the healing stories associated with this source are cases of restoration of speech in the deaf and mute, healing from leg diseases, and healing from cancer. One of the village residents talks about how her husband, who suffered from throat and pancreatic cancer, recovered after praying and drinking water from the spring, despite the pessimistic forecasts of doctors.
The spring has become a place where believers come together to ask for help and healing. It is also associated with a number of accounts of supernatural phenomena, including descriptions of visions and light effects that witnesses consider incomprehensible to the mind.
This spring is not only a place of healing, but also a place of faith and hope for many, and its mystical aura attracts many pilgrims from different parts of the region.
