Description
The Alexander Spring is a holy spring located 6 kilometers southwest of the village of Saraktash and nine kilometers along the road from it. This source is consecrated in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. A worship cross was installed above it, and a chapel was built where believers come for prayers and consecration.
The celebration dedicated to the Tabyn Icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary took place in all local churches on June 19, 2009. Then a religious procession took place from Saraktash to the holy spring of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. The believers made the journey from the temple to the bypass road, where they then boarded buses and got to the source to take part in the continuation of the holiday. The ceremony of blessing the waters of the source and the prayer service that took place at the holy place added a festive mood to all those present, strengthening their faith and spiritual connection with God.
