Description
The Yubileiny Community House in the ghost town of Pripyat, Ukraine, is one of the characteristic buildings left behind after the Chernobyl disaster in 1986. Initially, it was a public institution that provided various types of services, such as equipment repair, tailoring and other household services.
Currently, the Yubileiny Community House is a dilapidated five-story building, almost completely plundered by looters. The windows were broken, only the huge letters “Yubileiny House of Public Services” remained on the roof. Inside the building, the walls were crumbling, the workshops were empty, and the former glory of the enterprise was lost.
Although the appearance and surroundings of the Yubileiny Community House differ significantly from what is presented in the computer game Stalker: Call of Pripyat, this does not make it any less interesting to visit. Inside the building you can see a lot: the remains of a hairdressing salon, a workshop for repairing equipment and shoes, as well as other interesting objects that indicate the former structure of the facility.
The Yubileiny Public House remains a good object for research, although not as meaningful as some other abandoned buildings in Pripyat. Despite its dilapidated state, this place offers many mysteries and interesting moments for those interested in the history and atmosphere of post-apocalyptic locations.
