Dragon's Wings is an amazing place with an unusual rock that resembles a dragon's head. Located in the vicinity of the village of Slyudorudnik near the city of Kyshtym in the Chelyabinsk region, this rock attracts many people with its mysterious shape and legendary history.
According to one of the legends, here, near the Kyshtym plant on Tyopla Gora, there lived a dragon snake, which was defeated by the cunning peasant Chertushko. Chertushko, with the help of Kyshtym craftsmen, built a stone bridge and cut off the dragon’s wings, after which the snake flew off to the northern lakes.
The rock is located on the northwestern spur of Mount Tyoploy. Its upper part resembles the head of a dragon, and the through hole in the rock gives it a special mystery. The height of the rocks reaches approximately 10 meters, and they are composed of granite gneisses.
To get to the Wings of the Dragon, you should take the Ekaterinburg-Chelyabinsk highway and turn onto Kasli, and then drive to the village of Slyudorudnik. After this, you need to turn onto the road leading to the village of Bolshie Egusty, and after a while turn right onto the dirt road. You should drive along the dirt road to a clearing at the foot of the mountain, and then walk another kilometer along the path.
This place attracts people not only with its beauty, but is also an object of interest for lovers of mysticism, who spread legends about the anomalous zone that exists here.
