Description

The Savran cable car, built in 2014, is one of the tourist attractions of Adygea. It is located at the entrance to the village of Dakhovskaya, at the turn of the road to the Lago-Naki plateau. The cable car leads through a forest clearing on the mountainside to the top of the rocky Una-Koz ridge, from where picturesque mountain landscapes open up.

The length of the cable car is 1250 meters, with a lifting height of 500 meters, and the travel time one way takes only 15 minutes. The cable car allows tourists to climb to the top of the Una-Koz ridge, which is located at an altitude of 1 kilometer above sea level. During the ascent and descent, a magnificent view of the Belaya River valley and the top of the Azish-Tau ridge opens up.

At the very top, tourists can enjoy stunning panoramas. From here there is an extensive view of the entire village of Dakhovskaya, as well as the peaks of Lago-Naki, visible in the distance. After taking the cable car, visitors can visit several interesting sights, including the Cave of Desires, Devil's Finger Rock, Pylnaya Cave, Dakhovskaya Cave and the Tethys extreme club. You can visit these places either on foot or using the services of excursions on SUVs and ATVs.

The cost of climbing the Savranskaya cable car in 2024 is 800 rubles for adults and 500 rubles for children from 6 to 12 years old. Children under 6 years old, veterans of the Great Patriotic War and participants in the liquidation of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident can use the cable car for free. Guests of the tourist complex "Grafskaya Polyana" receive a 20% discount.

The ticket includes ascent and descent and is valid for one day. The cable car's opening hours vary depending on the season, but in general it operates from 9–10 am to 4–5 pm, daily in the summer and on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at other times, starting in mid-November.

Visitors are advised to find out the exact operating schedule of the cable car on the official website of the tourist complex before the trip. In addition, possible changes in the operation of the cable car due to weather conditions such as thunderstorms and gale force winds should be taken into account.

A visit to the cable car is especially recommended in the summer or on weekdays, when there are fewer people on the cable car, parking lot and trails, making the visit more comfortable. It is also important to take into account the weather forecast, especially in the cold season when it can be windy at the top. It is necessary to provide comfortable shoes without heels for visiting caves and rocks along unpaved forest paths.
