Description

The Kuperlya Waterfall and the natural karst bridge are among the most breathtaking attractions of Bashkiria, attracting millions of tourists every year.

The waterfall is located in the Bashkiria National Park, upstream of the Nugush River. It consists of several cascades and steps, and the highest part is about 15 meters high. In the spring, the waterfall reaches its maximum influx of water due to the sharp difference in the heights of the banks of the Kuperlya River, which is a tributary of the Nugush.

Nature has created a picturesque karst bridge over the Kuperlya Waterfall. This bridge, 20 meters high, forms a beautiful vaulted arch over the water flows. Combined with the beauty of the surrounding nature, this natural architectural masterpiece attracts tourists from different regions and countries.

The water in the waterfall is very clean and cold, since the location is far from populated areas. The karst bridge was formed over the centuries by the Kuperlya River, which washed away the rock, forming bizarre outlines and creating an arched tunnel. The bridge is 35 meters long and has an arched section of 10 meters, making it a real natural wonder.

The Kuperlya Waterfall with its cascades and karst bridge is a stunning sight. The first two cascades, sheer walls of rock, create an impressive view. In order to see the karst bridge, you need to climb to the third, smallest cascade. From the top of the mountain, a panoramic view of the Nugush River and forests opens up.

A visit to the waterfall is possible with an organized excursion from the village of Nugush. The park has created excursion programs offering a choice between rafting on the river and a land excursion. It is important to prepare for the hike: comfortable shoes, closed clothes, a raincoat, water and food will help you enjoy this amazing natural place.
