The temple in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God "Derzhavnaya", located in the center of Samara, is a significant architectural object of the city. The architectural design of the temple belongs to A.E. Astakhov, and the interior interiors were designed by V.V. Chemirzov. Description of the church

This temple is a single-altar, five-domed structure, built of stone and made in the Byzantine style with elements of Russian architecture. Its cruciform arrangement and five domes give it a characteristic architectural expression.
The first floor of the church is intended for the refectory, and two staircases lead to the second floor, where the choir seats are located. The belfry is located in the western part of the temple. The height of the church reaches 26 meters, which makes it a noticeable element of the urban landscape.
