Khauaze (Bashkir: Һәүәҙе) is a mountain in the Ishimbay region of Bashkortostan, Russian Federation, which is a tourist attraction. It is located next to Makarovo, near the Makarovo - Kulgunino road (section P316). Within 1-3 km from the mountain there are other tourist attractions, such as the Salavat Yulaev cave, the Kalim-uskan rock, the places where the Sikasya River goes underground and emerges from the karst, as well as the Kyzyltash tract.
The name "Hauaze" in the Bashkir language is translated as "in the sky." This mountain, although not very high, has a difficult climb due to its almost entirely forested slopes. At the top of the mountain there is a kind of observation deck, which offers a picturesque view of the Ishimbay low mountains, the Kuk-Karauk waterfall, the Sualgan and Sikasyu rivers. The height of the mountain is 586 meters above sea level, and the climb up it is 1.5 kilometers long.
There are many tourist attractions in the Southern Urals and many tourists visit these magnificent places.
