Description
The Yubileinaya Cave in Bashkortostan is a unique natural formation with an underground stream. Inside the cave you can find narrow passages leading to small but interesting rooms in which you can stand upright. In winter, the cave is dry, the stream does not overflow, but in spring a flood is possible, accompanied by high humidity and the presence of clay slurry. Sometimes in winter you can find ice. To visit, it is recommended to wear separate clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, and also to have a normal flashlight with you, or better yet a headlamp, since you have to climb a lot in narrow places, and it’s not always convenient to illuminate with your hands.
Although the Yubileinaya cave is not the most popular in Bashkiria, it is located in a fairly easily accessible place. In winter, you can get almost to the entrance by car, with the exception of a small ravine, which is better to overcome on foot. In summer, when the weather is dry, the route is accessible even for cars with one drive. Although the cave is not the largest in the region, the beautiful nature around creates a wonderful atmosphere for relaxation, an ideal place for preparing delicious barbecue.
