Description

The monument to heroic soldiers, residents of the village of Blagoslovenka, Orenburg region, is a touching testimony of memory and respect for those who gave their lives for their Motherland during the Great Patriotic War. The departure of 296 people from the village to the front and the failure of 152 of them to return reflects the enormous losses suffered by this small but proud community.

The opening of the memorial on May 9, 1983, on the day of Victory Day, gives it special symbolic meaning. This day, on which the entire country pays tribute to the memory and sorrow of those who died, was the right moment to erect a monument so that each subsequent generation remembers the victims of the war and appreciates the peaceful sky for which they managed to pay dearly.

The initiative of the workers of the Ukhtomsky collective farm, who are the initiators of the construction of the monument, testifies to the unity and solidarity of the community in preserving the memory of their heroes and perpetuating their feat. The monument, located next to the village administration building, becomes not only a place of grief, but also a symbol of pride and patriotism for all village residents, reminding them of the price of peace and freedom.
