Description

The Yamashlinskoye Reservoir is located in the Republic of Bashkortostan, near the village of Kugarchi. This reservoir is about 1,250 meters long and about 300 meters wide. It is skirted by the Orenburg-Ufa highway, which makes stopping near it not very convenient due to the close location of the road.

Camping

On the right bank of the reservoir, it is possible to arrange an overnight stay. Although there are no equipped camping sites, flat areas and the presence of trees make it easier to pitch tents. Near the reservoir there are mountains, a forest with anthills and a small stream with clean water.

Although rest on the shore of the reservoir has become expensive, the place is still popular among tourists, especially on weekends. Many come here not only for swimming and relaxation, but also for hiking in the forest or climbing mountains. The view from the mountain about 120 meters high on the nearby areas is stunning in its beauty. Often on the right bank you can see a herd of horses that come there even at night, entertaining tourists.

Tourist base "Yamashla"

To get to the other side of the reservoir, you need to go through the tourist base "Yamashla". After paying for the fare, you can use various services at the recreation center, such as fishing, boat and catamaran rental, as well as renting rooms for the night. Prices for services may vary, but the base usually offers a variety of opportunities for active and comfortable recreation in nature.

Location

Yamashlinskoye reservoir is located in the Republic of Bashkortostan on the Yamashla River - a tributary of the Bolshaya Suren River. The road to Zilair runs along the right bank of the reservoir. The reservoir is visible from the windows of passing cars. The place is beautiful. Picturesque hills rise nearby. If you climb up, you can enjoy the scenery.

Size and features

The reservoir is small. Its length reaches 1200 m, width - about 300 meters. The upper reaches of the reservoir are swampy. The water is clean. Near the dam there is a recreation center "Yamashla". Recreation on the left bank of the reservoir is paid. They charge a lot for travel and pitching a tent. Nevertheless, on weekends there are many vacationers here. Those who love comfort can spend the night at the tourist center itself.

Services and entertainment

The recreation center is open all year round. It offers entertainment for every taste: sauna, bathhouse, fishing, boating, jet skiing, banana boats, catamarans in the summer or horseback riding, snowmobiling, skiing, skating in the winter, etc. There is a cafe. The phone number of the recreation center is (34785) 2-45-66.

Nearest settlement

The nearest settlement is the village of Kugarchi, Zianchurinsky district, Bashkiria. It is located 1 km west of the pond dam. This settlement was founded in the early 19th century (according to other sources, in the second half of the 18th century). The settlement was known as Salikhovo (Kugarchino, Akkunduz). Residents were engaged in cattle breeding and agriculture. The modern name arose in the 1930s. Tatars and Bashkirs live here.
