Description

The Deevsky mansion, located in Znamenka, Belebeevsky district of Bashkiria, is a beautiful two-story estate built at the beginning of the 20th century by the Russian landowner Nikolai Vasilyevich Deev. This majestic red brick home embodies a classic style and is impressive in scale and architectural beauty.

On the first floor of the mansion there was a ballroom with several balconies, and on the second and third floors there were rooms for the owners and servants. A spacious garden with an artificial pond and shady walkways was built around the estate, creating a cozy atmosphere for relaxation and entertainment.

During the Great Patriotic War, a sniper school was organized in the mansion, which added historical significance to this building.

Since 1948, the Znamenskaya secondary school has been located in the estate. At this time, the walls of the mansion were decorated with symbols, which can still be seen on them. However, in 1978, after the school moved to a new building, the mansion remained empty.

In the 1990s, the process of restoration of the mansion began, but due to lack of funding, the work was interrupted. In 2000, the restored dome of the estate burned down.

Today, the Deevsky mansion is in a deplorable state, dilapidated and neglected. The roof is practically missing, and the interior is almost destroyed. However, even in its neglected state, it continues to inspire admiration for its historical significance and architectural beauty, leaving traces of the rich past of the place.
