Description

In December 2015, the Orsk solar power plant named after A.A. Vlaznev was put into operation in the Orenburg region. At the time of launch, the plant's capacity was 25 megawatts, and the project was implemented by the T Plus Group. During the first two years of operation, the Orsk solar power plant produced 72.6 million kilowatt-hours of energy, which saved 18.5 thousand tons of standard fuel and reduced emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere of Orsk by more than 130 tons.

In 2017, two additional expansion stages with a capacity of 5 and 10 megawatts were built to increase the plant's capacity, which increased the total capacity of the plant to 40 megawatts.

Characteristics of the plant after expansion

  • Total area of land plots: 100 hectares.
  • Perimeter length: 5,936 meters.
  • Number of photovoltaic modules: 160,110.
  • Total weight of supporting metal structures: 3,139 tons.
  • Number of screw and driven piles: 55,550 pieces.
  • Power transformer: Increases voltage from 10 to 110 kV for transmission to the grid.

Operational control

Operating personnel and equipment for protection, automation, fire alarm and other auxiliary systems are located in operational control points (OCP) with a capacity of 15 and 25 megawatts, combined with complete switchgear. The station can be controlled both from the combined operational control point of the second and third stages of expansion (15 MW), and from the OPU of the Orsk SES (25 MW), as well as remotely from the control panel of the Orsk CHPP-1.

The Orsk solar power station named after A.A. Vlaznev represents an important step in the development of renewable energy sources in the region, contributing to fuel savings and improving the environmental situation.
