Description

Mount Malinovaya, also known as Elektash ("Berry Stone" in Bashkir), is a ridge with three distinct peaks reaching a maximum height of 1,152 meters. Situated just 6 km from Beloretsk, this mountain is one of the most accessible thousand-meter peaks in the Southern Urals and a significant natural symbol of the region.

Panoramic views and picturesque landscapes

Mountain Malinovaya is famous for its picturesque landscapes that open up from its peaks. From here you can see:

  • Beloretsk
  • Mount Yamantau (over 1600 m high)
  • Mount Kirel (1162 m)
  • Inzerskie Zubchatki Ridge
  • Mount Iremel (1582 m)
  • Mount Yalangas (1300 m)
  • Bolshoy Shelom

The climb to the top is relatively easy, passing through the forest and leading to rocky peaks, where the path rises to the very top of the ridge.

Historical significance

Mount Malinovaya is also famous thanks to the filming of the Soviet TV series "Eternal Call". In one of the episodes, which was filmed on the slopes of the Malinovy ​​Ridge, the "Stone Bag" is shown, where partisans hid during the Civil War. This episode can be seen in the fifth episode, called "In the Stone Bag".

Geographical location and structure

The Malidak Ridge, to which Mount Malinovaya belongs, is 9 km long and over 1000 m high. The highest point of the ridge is Mount Kirel (1162 m). The slopes of the ridge are covered with mixed forest, as well as alpine meadows and kurumniks. The rocks often have steep slopes and are impressive natural objects.

Tourist routes

Malinovaya Mountain is a popular place for tourists due to its accessible routes and picturesque views. For the ascent, you can use two main routes:

  • Through the village of Kuzgun-Akhmerovo
  • From the Otnurok farm, where the Malinovka tourist base is located

Visitors to the base can enjoy hiking or horseback riding in the surrounding area and organize trips to other attractions of Bashkortostan.

Rich flora and fauna

The flora of Malinovaya Gora includes a large number of berry plants, such as sorrel, blueberries, lingonberries and raspberries. You can also find a variety of mushrooms here, including porcini mushrooms, boletus and butter mushrooms. The richness of the vegetation and the diversity of species make this mountain especially attractive to tourists and researchers.
