The Karatash mountain range, located in the Southern Urals in Bashkortostan, is one of the region's most spectacular natural attractions. This ridge extends submeridionally between the Kataskina, Aigir and Minyak rivers, and its beauty and diversity of scenery attract tourists from all over the world.
The length of Karatash is 17 km, and the width varies from 4 to 6 km. The height of the mountain range reaches 919 meters, and on its slopes there are six peaks that provide unique views of the surrounding area. It is not recommended to leave cars in abandoned areas or camp at the base of the mountain due to the possibility of wild animals.
