Description

In the vicinity of SNT "Uzor" and the village of Gubino, Moscow region, there are peat quarries, which are part of the peat extraction activity. Peat is an organic substance formed as a result of the accumulation of plant residues in conditions of high humidity and lack of oxygen. It is an important natural resource used in agriculture as a fertilizer and soil amendment, and as a fuel.

Peat is extracted by removing it from quarries, which can lead to changes in the landscape and water resources in the surrounding area. In addition, the peat extraction process can affect the ecosystems living in these areas and cause negative environmental consequences.

However, with proper organization and control of peat extraction, the negative impact on the environment can be minimized. This includes the use of modern technology, control of emissions and effective restoration of the site after mining is completed.

Peat quarries in the area of SNT "Uzor" and the village of Gubino represent part of the economic activity of this region and require a balance between economic needs and environmental protection.
