Description
Lake Dead is a natural lake located a few kilometers from the railway station in the village of Potochino. It is characterized by difficult access to water due to the surrounding quagmire and severe swampiness in some places. The origin of the lake is connected with springs, which indicates underground springs that feed it with water.
Such lakes often have a special ecosystem balance and are attractive for research because they can contain unique species of plants and animals, as well as study the processes that occur in conditions of limited oxygen availability and other factors characteristic of such natural environments. However, due to difficult access, the lake may be less popular for tourists, and visiting it requires special preparation and caution.
