The Ai fountain, also known as the Elanlinsky, Laklinsky or simply Aisky, is an amazing natural wonder that attracts tourists with its beauty and unusual capabilities.
This fountain was created thanks to an artesian spring that was accidentally discovered during the search for bauxite in 1981. The source became known thanks to the efforts of Vladimir Ivanovich Polyakov, who installed a plug in the pipe, from which a fountain then began to flow. Currently, the height of the fountain reaches 5.5 meters, and its beauty never ceases to amaze visitors.
The fountain is a decoration of this beautiful corner of nature and is not only a source of clean and cool water, but also an object of art that creates whimsical ice sculptures in winter.
The location of the Ai fountain is just 2 kilometers from the village of Elanlino, Kiginsky district, on the right bank of the Ai River. You can get to it in various ways: on foot through the forest, on an all-terrain vehicle or on horseback, especially after frost, when travel along the river becomes possible.
The fountain is attractive at any time of the year and is one of the interesting places for tourists who want to enjoy the beauty of nature and amazing phenomena.
