В 1908 году на этом месте была построена церковь Святого Николая Чудотворца, 30 ноября того же года она была освещена. В 1929 году было принято решение о закрытии церкви и переоборудовании её в дом культуры, но в дальнейшем решение было пересмотрено, и здание использовалось для хранения зерна. В 1932 году церковь после Пасхи закрыли. Примечательно, около церкви был колодец, после закрытия церкви вода в колодце ушла под землю.
