Description

The church dedicated to the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul asserts its status in the village of Pogromnoye, Orenburg region. Its construction began in 2003, when a small cross-shaped building made of brick was erected, following the classic Russian style. Initially intended as a chapel, in 2007 an altar was added, and the church was consecrated as a full-fledged sanctuary.

Adjacent to the church is a modest bell tower, adding to its atmosphere. Nearby, there is an active rural cemetery, which gives this place a special spiritual character.

According to local legends, the idea of building the church belongs to one of the residents of the village of Pogromnoye. This sanctuary of Peter and Paul has become not only a symbol of faith and spiritual unity of the community but also a memorial to the fallen soldiers of the Great Patriotic War and internationalist soldiers who participated in various military conflicts.
