Description
The Sokolovskie Klyuchi spring is located in the Bor tract on the territory of the Valdai National Park, not far from the village of Roshchino and the village of Dolgiye Borody in the Novgorod region. It was discovered in the 70s by Yakov Sokolov, a resident of the village of Roshchino, and named in his honor.
Yakov Sokolov was the first to take care of making access to the spring convenient for everyone. He created convenient approaches, installed a path with steps and railings, as well as a bridge. Thanks to his initiative and work, local residents and visitors were able to easily obtain water from this spring.
In 2008, employees of the National Park carried out work to develop the spring: they made a drainage, built a gazebo and installed a sign on the road. The spring was also included in the Forest Secrets ecological trail and consecrated.
The water in the spring is known for its high content of silver, sodium, magnesium and calcium. It is very good for health and does not spoil for a long time. The location of the spring is easy to find by following the signs from the Okulovskaya road towards Roshchino.
The Sokolovskie Klyuchi spring is a wonderful place to relax and drink fresh and clean water, surrounded by picturesque nature.
