Description
The Gambit fountain in Gorky Park in Kazan is one of the most attractive places for both residents and tourists. It was built as part of a renovation project for the park, which was previously in a state of disrepair. In 2014, walking paths, benches and, of course, the Gambit fountain were placed here. This light and music fountain has the shape of a chessboard, and each water jet represents chess pieces.
The Gambit fountain is open daily in summer from 9:00 to 23:00. In the evening, from 20:00 to 23:00, a kind of show begins in which the fountain dances to music and lighting effects. The show program lasts approximately 60-90 minutes and is repeated twice in the evening. The Gambit fountain is pedestrian, so you can walk on it freely while working.
To get to Gorky Park, where the fountain is located, you can use public transport. There is a stop next to the park, served by buses and trolleybuses. You can also come by personal car and use the paid parking lot, which is located near the park.
