Description
The Sarinsky pond, formed on the Sukhaitashka River (also known as Chebakla), is one of the artificial reservoirs located in the Kuvandyk municipal district of the Orenburg region. This reservoir, located 5 kilometers south of the village of Sara, was created in the early 1980s through the efforts of local collective farm workers who built a dam, thanks to which a dam appeared. The main purpose of creating the pond was to breed fish and provide the local population with a place to relax.
Currently, the management of the reservoir is carried out by the Metallurg Foundation together with the administration of the Sarinsky district. Entrance to the pond is paid, the cost is 150 rubles per car or 200 rubles per fisherman.
Recently, the popularity of this place has increased significantly, and in the summer a large number of vacationers gather here. Some tourists come here with tents for the weekend to enjoy relaxation, fishing and catamaran rentals. The Metallurg Foundation is actively engaged in landscaping the area, installing places for recreation, places for making fires, as well as equipping toilets and installing garbage containers. There is also a small pier for catamarans on the territory of the pond.
Next to the pond there is a spring with clean drinking water, which visitors can use to replenish their supplies. Local residents will be happy to share information about the location of the spring and how to find it. Another attractive natural site in the surrounding area is the Sarinsky waterfall, which is recommended for visiting and experiencing the beauty of the local nature.
