The mouth of the Srednyaya Kargalka is located 32 km along the right bank of the Sakmara River in the village of Tatarskaya Kargala.

Physical and geographical characteristics

  • The width of the river in the lower reaches is about 20 meters with a depth of 1 meter. The bottom of the river is sandy.
  • The main tributaries include the Musachukyr, Taimas, Kamenny, Karpovsky ravines and the Sukhoi Dol River.

The Srednyaya Kargalka is a right tributary of the Sakmara and passes through the Oktyabrsky and Sakmara districts of the Orenburg region. The river is known for its meandering currents and is a popular place for recreation, fishing and picnics. However, due to its features, such as constant loops and a sandy bottom, it is less suitable for swimming.
