The Shumak tourist base is a unique place located at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level in the picturesque valley of the Shumak River, in the heart of the Eastern Sayan Mountains in the Okinsky district of the Republic of Buryatia. This place is distinguished by its remoteness from civilization and offers visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in pristine nature and enjoy peace and solitude.
The Shumak tourist base has all the conditions for a comfortable stay: round-the-clock lighting, power supply through a solar power plant, toilets and showers with hot water, its own bakery, television, satellite telephone and Internet. The journey to this place can be done in one hour by helicopter from the city of Irkutsk, making it accessible for tourists.
The tourist base offers various tour programs for 7, 14 or 21 days with flights, three meals a day, excursions and other services. The main operating season of the base is from May to September, but at other times of the year the base can work according to individual requests.
